9th Annual
“Santa Comes to Town”
Dear Potential Supporter,
The Latino Community Development, Corporation is making preparations for this year’s 9th “Santa Comes to Town”. This Christmas charity event will be held again at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in the Toyota Blue Ribbona Pavilion on December 16th-17th 2009 for the less fortunate Latino families. The event is made possible by generous contributions from individuals and organizations in metro Indianapolis. Donations of personal care products, medical, education and legal services will be available to over 1,400 families and toys will be distributed to 5,000 children (age 1-9) during this 7-hour event.
There will be activities such as face painting, games, piñatas and community awareness activities, education and health.
Latino Community Development was formed to help less fortunate Latinos transition into the local Indianapolis community. Our mission is to reach out as much as we can afford to all needy families. Supporting and nurturing these families will assist them to grow into more productive citizens. Latino Community Development is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization and is gratefully accepting sponsorships for the “Santa Comes to Town” event. There are several benefits to the sponsorship program. By sponsoring this event you will be bring down the costs to administer the program, which allows more people in need to receive food and gift items. The event is advertised to the Latino Community, through various Medias. Being a sponsor can provide an easy and convenient way to establish brand awareness with this target market. Keeping in mind that sponsorships are tax-deductible in most cases.
The Latino Community Development is pleased to have the assistance and support of the Commission on Hispanic/Latino Affairs, Gold Member of the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, and companies like Old National Bank, Morales Group, Citizens Gas, Wal-mart to name some..
