LCD ThanksGiving 2009

The Latino Community Development (LCD) Corp celebrated its third Thanksgiving Day Event with great SUCCESS.   We were able to distribute more than 900 meals to Latino families and a great variety of services.

We want to THANK all of our great volunteers, Mozel Sanders to help us with the meal preparation, Hondumex to help us get people registered to the event and El Volcan for allowing us to serve the meals.

Santa Comes to Town 2009

The Latino Community Development, Corporation is making preparations for this year’s 9th “Santa Comes to Town”. This Christmas charity event will be held again at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in the Toyota Blue Ribbon Pavilion on December 16th and 17th 2009 for the less  fortunate Latino families. The event is made possible by generous contributions from individuals and organizations in the metro Indianapolis area. Donations of personal care products, medical items, education and legal services will be available to over 1,400 families.  Toys will be distributed to 5,000 children (age 1-9) during this full day event.
